Police attach property of terror handler in Awantipora | KNO

Srinagar, Jan 07 (KNO): Police in Awantipora on Tuesday said to have attached an immovable property (04 Marlas of land) situated at Syedabad Pastoona Tral worth lakhs belonging to a terror handler based in Pakistan namely Mubashir Ahmad son of Ghulam Nabi Dar resident of Syedabad Pastuna Tral. The action was taken under sections 25 of UAPA Act, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO). The property was identified belonging to a terror handler during the course of investigation/enquiry conducted by Awantipora Police, the statement reads. Pertinently, the Pak based terrorist handler Mubashir Ahmad is involved in promoting and reviving terrorist activities by pushing in arms & ammunition for activating local terror networks. The operation reaffirms the commitment of J&K Police to combat the terror activities, police said—(KNO)
